UK Etsy Challenge

I have taken part in this for the first time. Mixed media work, keep on coming back to that. Apple was the subject and here is my entry " Golden Apples".

Textiles

Can hardly believe that a week has gone past since I last made an entry here. The Street Fair was fine, with lots of people and it was a fantastic summers day. I've been experimenting with dyed papers and fabrics and this is the first piece of work that I have produced.

ETSY and Treasuries

So busy getting ready for the fair on Saturday have not posted here much. This morning I discovered that I was in two treasuries on Etsy which is great. One is for JET and the other a UK one.

ETSY

The street team that I belong to on Etsy is on MySpace and this is the link. This is all down to the work of Tara who is one of the dynamic duo who set up JET.

Art Cards

I have been working on some new cards using an altered photograph. I printed the image out on canvas effect paper and then using free maching I traced around the image. I think that it gives more depth to the work.

Earrings

I have been designing some new earrings for the late summer and early autumn. I so love all the wonderful colours of fresh water pearls.
